yoga in a winery, and chocolate, oh my!

What a really wonderful weekend we had. A great start to October.

Saturday was the first of the month, so Ridley Creek State Park  clean-up time. It was the first time I was able to attend in a few months, thanks to travels, so it was really nice to be there and see everyone. The activity was great too... we got to plant trees!

You know that made me happy.

The rest of Saturday was pretty lazy. We went to a playground, but otherwise did a lot of hanging out and lounging.

Sunday started off with Gwen randomly sleeping in until almost 8! That was a nice surprise. Then it was time to get up and ready for an early anniversary celebration for Trav and I. We take turns planning, and this year was Trav's turn. I had no idea what to expect, but he knocked it out of the park!

After dropping Gwen off at Ro and Pat's place, we headed to a local winery for a yoga class in the vineyard, followed by a wine tasting with chocolate pairings!! The whole day was outstanding.

View of the vineyards from the tasting porch.

This was Trav's first yoga class (he did very well!), and I'd say it was an amazing venue for an introduction! The sun broke through the clouds and it was a beautiful, blue skied day, with a perfect breeze cooling us down.

The chocolate pairings.

The wine and chocolate was such a fun treat afterwards. Everything was so yummy!

May have gone a little crazy in the gift shop.

On our way home, we stopped at Whole Foods to grab some meat, cheese, and bread (to go with the olive oil we bought at the winery) and headed back to Ro and Pat's for some hanging out.

Gwen had a great time while we were gone!

Frosting cupcakes.

Hanging out in GG's room.

After that, we headed home and it was an early dinner and bedtime for all.

How was your weekend?
