Paint Night!

Our local tattoo place is also a Paint Night shop! Good tattoo artists start off as visual artists, so this is an uncommon combo, but one that makes complete sense.

We headed there the other night for a (very fitting) Harry Potter themed painting!

Our good friend Panda and her husband joined us too! (Panda is one of Gwen's favorite people!!)

It was a fun night, and we can't wait to hang up our paintings! Happy Painting!

Not A Resolution - Follow Up

The weekend before last, in addition to MANSON(!!), I attended an inversion workshop.

It was super fun, with lots of laughing, but also gave me tons of great tips to incorporate into my inversion practice as I work towards that handstand.

I made two breakthroughs: piking up to tripod stand for the first time (then dropping it into chaturanga), and successfully getting back up into crow from my tripod stand (twice!). It feels good to work hard and feel strong!

This past weekend I had an arm balance workshop, different, but still helpful in my pursuit.

I'm learning to be more aware of my whole body, even in "unnatural" positions, and getting stronger and stronger. Can't wait to see my progression! 

NoH8

A few weeks ago, all three of us headed into Denver to participate in something I'd been wanting to do for years... a NoH8 photo shoot. Even if you don't recognize the name, you probably recognize the pictures with their iconic white shirt, face tattoo combination!

The NOH8 Campaign is an amazing organization whose mission is to promote LGBT marriage, gender and human equality through education, advocacy, social media, and visual protest; something we were obviously thrilled to support. It was a fun day, with a happy, excited vibe.
