More Yoga Workshops!

(Sorry for the unexpected mini-break... I was traveling and didn't get posts up before I went. Playing catch-up now!)

Two weeks ago I was lucky enough to attend two 2-hour workshops taught by one of my biggest yoga inspirations, Kathryn Budig. She's an inspiration, not only on the mat, but in living your most authentic life.

Even better... she's just my size. True inspiration that if I put in the work, I can get the results.

The first workshop was called the hero's journey and it was a weaving of yoga, myth, and storytelling.

I was also lucky enough to get to help demo (multiple times actually)!!

The second workshop was about backbending, something I have a natural ability for... and this workshop gave me some amazing tips for doing it in the safest and strongest way.

It got me into a pose I'd never gotten into before, Eka Pada Raja Kapotasana II.

4 hours of yoga with only an hour break was hard work, but it was an amazing day which left me feeling strong, capable, and energized. (It also left me with the sorest abs I've had... ever!)

I hope I get to learn from Kathryn again soon!
