Birthday Fun

It was nice that this year Gwen's birthday fell on the weekend. She was so excited to wake up to her birthday banner, some new LEGOs, and the anticipation of a hockey game later that day.

Gwen's sweet teacher joined us! Gwen asked a friend who couldn't make it, and the other person she wanted to bring with her teacher. It was actually really relaxing for us! Ha. And Gwen was so happy about the day, despite the Avs losing.

We ended the day with takeout Chinese, and more LEGO gifts from friends... and a very happy 9 year old.
