The Busyness of May

I cannot believe how fast May went, how busy and full and fun it was. There were concerts and visits, extra trips up to Red Rocks (for Movie on the Rocks - Bohemian Rhapsody! So good!!), time in the woods, and the Farmer's Market restarting. There were all my normal yoga classes - plus two new regular classes I'm teaching, some work with a new corporate client, and some major work on a retreat I'll be co-leading in September! Now that is much excitement!

 Summer treats - lilac meringues!

This was Gwen and my first week home together for summer break. There will always be growing pains with such transitions but I have to say this week was rather delightful! I'm feeling so very optimistic about how the summer is going to go.

I didn't make my way to the gym yet, but that has nothing to do with Gwen and everything to do with an ill placed bit of road rash that made movement uncomfortable. I did however get outside to run toward the end of the week when things were less tender!

Last Thursday my body was so tired from it all that on the first day we had no plans, I slept until 11am. I can't remember the last time I did that! But it felt amazing, and then I hit the ground running. Cleaning the apartment from top to bottom, doing laundry, cleaning out my car, literally running, and organizing the month ahead.

I cannot believe how full this month was, and that its over already. I have a feeling this summer will fly!

(My babes at Breckenridge... to ski... Memorial Day weekend!)
