Well, Fall is officially here, though the summer weather resurfaced briefly for the last weekend of summer, and it looks like it will be back briefly for next weekend as well (for Celtic Classic!!). But overall the Autumn weather is upon us, and I'm using it as an excuse to stock up on all the fixing for some of my favorite Autumn meals. Beef stew, biscuits and gravy, and I found an amazing looking recipe for braised lamb that I want to try. Yummm.

As for this past weekend. We soaked up tons of outdoor time, first visiting with Nonnie and Papa on Saturday, so I could get my hair cut; then running around with GG and Casey at Ro and Pat's on Sunday. Gwen loves every second with her Nonnie and Papa, and this time was no exception, especially since she got to see the Wizard of Oz for the first time. And Auntie Ro even took Gwen for a ride on the back of her bike, so that was golden!

Gwen was a happily worn out girl both days, and actually shut her eyes to rest (though not really sleep) on the ride home from my parent's, which she hasn't done in forever.

Overall, a great weekend. And now we are on to the last week in September! Time continues to fly!
