Picnic Basket Crafts is an earthy-friendly shop full of items for mamas, babies, and houses. This mother-daughter team were sweet enough to provide me with some products to try out, and share with you. They sent me two concentrated cleaners (one for heavy duty cleaning, and one for counters, glass, and other surfaces), as well as a sample of their Comfrey and Arnica Muscle Relieving Salve.

The first thing I tried was the salve. You know I've been complaining a bit about soreness from running. Well my lower calves were aching a bit the day I received the package, so I figured I'd give it a shot. Well, I definitely want more! The first thing I noticed was how amazing it smelled, the bees wax, spearmint and eucalyptus smelled so great together. It went on a smidge greasy, but felt nice and smooth, and the greasiness went away quickly. You know what else faded? My aches! The menthol did that awesome cooling thing that menthol does and definitely dulled my aches.

After I got home I tried out the other products. They come concentrated, but are easy to "prepare." I have two spray bottles that I got from the dollar store, so I grabbed those. Add the concentrate, and a cup of water, and you're good to go!

I was able to gently peel the labels off the concentrate bottles too, and stick them on my spray bottles so I don't get them confused.

I tried both out, and they worked like a charm. I used the counter one on Gwen's place at the table (its safe on wood), and it easily cleaned up the sticky mess she always leaves behind. The heavy duty one I used on our stove top, which was slightly grease splattered from cooking some bacon. No problem, it cut right through the grease and left a supper subtle lemon scent behind.
